Dear guest, welcome to the Costa Brava, you have just checked in. Below you will find some important information, we recommend you to read it carefully, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us:

Home Service Calonge coordinates your arrival, stay and departure. It works together with booking offices.

Remember: Home Service Calonge is your service company. You have rented your holiday home with Club Villamar or collaborating agencies.

Check-out: you must leave the house by 10:00 a.m. at the latest on the day of the end of the booking, having closed the doors and windows properly. The keys must then be returned to the Home Service Calonge office. If you decide to leave outside office hours, just leave the keys in the mailbox at the office door.

We would appreciate it if you let us know if you decide to leave the night before so that we can manage the cleaning better and offer a better service. Also, if there is any damage or something to improve, please let us know as soon as possible in order to solve it.

Before leaving, please make sure (not included in the cleaning):

  • -Kitchen utensils clean and in the drawer.
  • -Dishwasher empty
  • -Take out the rubbish
  • -Clean barbecue and grill -Grill and grate clean
  • -Garden equipment in its original place -Garden equipment in its original place
  • -If interior furnishings are arranged differently, leave as found.
  • -If you have rented sheets and towels, leave them in a pile at the entrance of the house (leaving the mattress protectors), the same with the baby equipment.
  • -If there is any damage, please inform the office as soon as possible so that it can be repaired for you or future guests.

Thefts: unfortunately there are people who take advantage of other people's lack of attention and thefts occur.

It is very important to LOCK all doors and windows when leaving the house. Also avoid leaving valuables in plain sight.

If, unfortunately, a burglary does occur, call us and we will help you to file a report with the police.

The home insurance will NOT be responsible for your belongings.


We understand that you should enjoy your holiday but it is important that you respect the people around you. Please note:

1.After 22.00 h. it is not allowed to have music outside the house. Please respect your neighbours and do not disturb them, they may complain to the police and you may be fined ( 300 € fine ).

2. Please collect the rubbish daily and take it to the bin. Litter attracts cats, dogs, ants and is a health hazard. The smell can also be a nuisance. In some Urbanisations in Calonge a door to door collection system has been implemented. Consult your area and the collection system in this link. 3.In case you have ANTS (very common in this area), we recommend you to use an insect killer spray that you can find in any supermarket. If there are a LOT of them, please contact us.

4. Please do not park in front of other people's garages or on driveways.

5.Please turn off the lights, heating and air conditioning when leaving the house.

6.WATER is a scarce commodity and therefore, we appreciate its rational use. Also, electricity is a very expensive service for the environment. We know that you are on holiday, but we ask you to use it responsibly within the normal range.

7.To avoid problems with the septic tank/pipes, please only dispose of toilet paper. Do not throw in chemicals, tampons, sanitary towels, etc. If the pipes become blocked due to improper use, you will be charged for the cost of the blockage.

8.The use of the POOL and any equipment in the house is under your responsibility and control. If your house has a private pool, dogs do not have access to it. Neither do small objects, such as balls or toys, which could get into the pipes, causing damage to the pump. Do not allow bottles or other objects to fall into the pool.

We ask you not to use the pool between 24:00 and 06.00 a.m. Please always be very careful with children in and out of the pool! Home Service Calonge cannot be held responsible for any accidents that may occur in and around the pool, such as the use of garden and indoor equipment such as slides, playgrounds, etc. ....

It is very important not to touch any element of the pool system. Each pool has its own system and can be deprogrammed. The person in charge of the pool and garden goes to the house several times a week for maintenance. Normally, if the house allows it, it is not necessary to go inside the house, only outside, but whenever they come they will identify themselves and knock on the door. In summer, the strong heat and excessive use of sun cream sometimes means that the water is not as clear as we would like it to be. In this case, please contact us and we will send the maintenance person to make it perfect.

9.Home Service Calonge staff can enter your home at any time to check it. We will identify ourselves and in case of doubt, call our office. However, we are committed to your peace of mind and will only do so with your permission or in an emergency.

10.All NEVERAS have a cooling limit. We advise you not to suddenly overload your fridge with your entire purchase, as it may not be able to cool sufficiently at first. We advise to foresee it with the purchase and to put the drink little by little and as we consume it. Once everything is cold enough, you will be able to load more.

11.In the event of a power cut, always check the fuse box and make sure that there are not too many appliances plugged in. Appliances that tend to cause problems are the kettle and the toaster. Try unplugging them.
