Welcome
Dear guest, welcome to the Costa Brava, you have just completed the check-in. Below you will find important information, we recommend that you read it carefully. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us:

WHO IS HOME SERVICE CALONGE
Home Service Calonge coordinates your arrival, stay and departure. It works together with booking offices.
Remember: Home Service Calonge is your service company. You have rented your holiday home with Club Villamar or partner agencies.
Check-out
The house must be vacated no later than 10:00 in the morning on the day your reservation ends, ensuring that doors and windows are properly closed.
Afterwards, the keys must be returned to the Home Service Calonge office.
If you decide to leave outside office hours, simply leave the keys inside the office mailbox.
We would appreciate it if you inform us if you decide to leave the night before so we can better manage cleaning and offer a better service. Likewise, if there is any damage or something to improve, we would appreciate if you inform us as soon as possible so we can resolve it.
Before leaving
Before leaving make sure of (not included in cleaning):
- Clean kitchen utensils and placed in the drawer
- Empty dishwasher
- Take out the garbage
- Barbecue and grill cleaned
- Garden furniture in its original place
- If furniture has been rearranged, leave it as it was found.
- If you have rented bed linen and towels, leave them in a pile at the entrance of the house (keeping mattress protectors), the same applies to baby equipment.
- If there is any damage, notify the office as soon as possible for repair for you or future guests.
Thefts
Unfortunately, there are people who take advantage of others’ carelessness and thefts may occur.
It is very important to CLOSE WELL all doors and windows when leaving the house. Also avoid leaving valuables in sight.
If it happens, call us and we will help you manage the report with the Police.
The house insurance DOES NOT cover your belongings.
INFORMATION - RULES - WASTE
We understand that you should enjoy your holidays, but it is important to respect the people around you. Please keep in mind:
1. After 22:00, music outside the house is not allowed. Also not inside at very high volume. Neighbours must be respected and not disturbed, otherwise they may complain to the police and you could be fined (300 € fine).
2. Please collect the garbage daily and take it to the container. Waste attracts cats, dogs, ants and is a health risk. The smell can also be disturbing. In some areas of Calonge, door-to-door collection has been implemented. Check your area and the system in this link. If your area has door-to-door collection, check the information:
If garbage has not been collected, you must take it to the areas below:
- In case of ANTS (very common in this area), we recommend using an insect spray available in any supermarket. If there are MANY, please contact us.
- Please do not park in front of other people's garages or on paths.
- Please turn off lights, heating and air conditioning when leaving the house.
- WATER is a scarce resource and we appreciate rational use. Electricity is also very costly for the environment. We know you are on holiday, but we ask for responsible use within reason.
- To avoid problems with the septic tank/pipes, please only flush toilet paper. Do not flush chemicals, tampons, sanitary pads, etc. If pipes are blocked due to misuse, costs will be charged.
Pool and equipment
- The use of the POOL and any equipment in the house is under your responsibility and control. If your house has a private pool, dogs are not allowed access. Small objects such as balls or toys must not enter the pipes as they can damage the pump. Avoid bottles or objects falling into the pool.
Please do not use the pool between 24:00 and 06:00. Always be very careful with children in and around the pool.
Home Service Calonge is not responsible for accidents that may occur in or around the pool, or from the use of garden or indoor equipment such as slides or playgrounds.
It is very important not to touch any pool system elements. Each pool has its own system and it may become misconfigured.
The person responsible for pool and garden maintenance visits the house several times a week. Usually, they will not need to enter the house, only outside, but they will always identify themselves and knock on the door.
In summer, high temperatures and excessive sunscreen use can sometimes make the water less clear. In this case, contact us and we will send maintenance staff to restore it to perfect condition.
Home Service Calonge staff access
- Home Service Calonge staff may access the house at any time to check it. We will identify ourselves and, in case of doubt, you can call our office. However, we are committed to your peace of mind and will only do so with your permission or in case of emergency.
